Risk Factors
There are many studies conducted on how many melanoma incidents over time increases especially to arid countries. The factors are as follows:
- Too much exposure in the sun
- Frequent tanning or engaging the same activity
- Living in arid places or with hot climates
- Frequent sunburns
- Genetically history of melanoma from relatives or families with the same medical
- condition
- Having multiple birthmarks or moles
- Close relatives with a history of melanoma
- Low immune system due to existing illness like AID, cancer, etc.
- Having fair skin that freckles easily
- Ultraviolet radiation
