Melanoma is a type of skin cancer with the ability to spread on other parts of the body. It predominantly occur in skin, eyes and bowels or any parts of the body that contains melanocytes. These are the cells that produces melanin giving the color of the skin. Most cases of melanoma occurred in Caucasian men particularly or white complexion in races while rarely occurring on black people. The cell damages are usually caused by the ultraviolet light from the sun.
